Le mélange: a year long experiment with Blended Learning Environment in the classroom

In this paper, I explore the benefits of a Blended Learning Environment and contrast it with a more 'traditional' approach. I also argue that the implementation of such a learning environment is more suitable to today's student and fosters a set of skills essential to 21st century learners. To support my argument, I focus on four areas: defining Blended Learning Environment and more specifically the one I chose to adopt; identifying the advantages of such a model; exploring an experiment conducted in class using such a model, and finally how to implement such a model
